The images of products for sale on this website are a representation of a range of available products provided by our suppliers.

We will not substitute products of a lesser quality without modifying our description accordingly. This is especially true for garments listed on this website, where the minimum quoted weights will be supplied.

The colours shown are a “best” representation given the transfer from a bitmap image and whilst our suppliers may change, we will not try and convince you that an “orange” coloured hoodie is actually “red”, but there may be a difference in the brightness of the red vs the image shown on our website due to the way a computer monitor displays colours.
 
The sizes shown are those supplied by our manufacturers.  

The chest size shown is the most accurate measurement and this should be used to order the correct size garment.  From experience these do equate reasonably well to the normal sizing of Small, Medium, Large, Size 10, Size 12, Size 14, etc, but this should be checked versus the size in inches. 

If you are unsure of which size to order, we recommend ordering the bigger size as its better to be slightly too big than too small.  

Even within the same manufacturer there is a degree of tolerance that we have to accept with regard to sizing.  

Where relevant we highlight when a garment is considered "slim fit" or "skinny fit". Please allow for this garment shape when choosing your sizes.

In some cases larger sizes are slightly more expensive. This is a charge from the manufacturer, and we are just passing on this extra cost.


Due to the size of our business, and that we do not holding any items in stock, we manufacture all of our items to order, so whilst you may like to have your goods as quickly as possible, we may not be able to meet your requirements due to the business model we operate.  If you wish to know current expected delivery schedules, use the “Contact Us” form via the "Customer Service" button and we will let you know by return.
 
We will notify you by e-mail if there is likely to be any delay in our standard delivery timescales of 7 to 10 days, and under the terms of the Consumer Contracts Regulations (2013), we do have, in exceptional circumstances, up to 30 days to fulfil your order.  We will obviously contact you in such circumstances, to see if you wish to proceed or cancel your order.
 
You must provide a daytime delivery address as all parcels will need to be signed for.
 
We cannot be held responsible, for any additional costs associated with your delivery, especially in cases where we have eveidence that an attempted delivery has been made.
 
If a parcel is returned to us because no signature could be obtained or an incorrect address is given, we will need to re-charge carriage costs to send the parcel out again.
 
We cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery due to extreme weather conditions or other such events.
 
We cannot be held responsible for consequential loss due to 3rd party delivery delays.

Standard delivery items are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class "Signed For" or Parcelforce Express48 services and we manufacture and dispatch all items to order, in the sequence they arrive.
 
The cost of delivery depends on the gross weight of the items ordered, including an allowance for packaging and occasionally the location of the delivery address.
 
We find that Royal Mail are cheaper up to and including a parcel weight of 2kg and Parcelforce for everything over 2kg.

For information the following average weights are used for each garment type:

• Bodywarmers : 1kg
• Hoodies and Sweatshirts : 900g
• Rugby and Polo Shirts : 500g
• T-Shirts and Leisure Bottoms : 300g
• Boxer Shorts : 200g

The total weight will be shown on the checkout page and the delivery costs priced accordingly.


Due to the nature of our business we do not offer Express Delivery.  See Customer Service FAQ for more information.
 
For deliveries to Republic of Ireland, Europe and the Rest of the World, please use the "Contact Us" form via the "Customer Service" button, to let us know your requirements, quantities and delivery location.  We can then advise on cost of delivery and how to proceed with your order.

If you decide to proceed with an overseas order, we cannot guarantee delivery times or be held responsible if these items are lost in transit.

We are not responsible for any custom or duty payments that may be due in the destination country.
 
We operate under the The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.  Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.  If your order consists of multiple goods, the 14 days runs from when you get the last of the batch.  This 14 day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back.   
 
We are confident that you will be delighted with your purchase. If, however, you are not completely satisfied, we offer a 14 Day Returns Policy.   

You can return your item(s) to us within 14 days of delivery for exchange or refund – please see “Defective Goods and Items Damaged in Transit” below for guidance on how to do this.  Your statutory rights are not affected.  
 
If your goods are defective or have been damaged in transit, please use the Returns form on the website under Customer Service to arrange a return, replacement or refund, using the steps below as guidance.

If possible, please indicate your reason for return, and whether you would like an exchange or a refund.  Enclose a brief covering note with your details, including the production label which will help us process your return/refund more efficiently.

Carefully and securely pack the items in suitable packaging to prevent damage during return transit. If possible, return the original packaging.

For your protection, we recommend that you return your item by Royal Mail Special Delivery.  This will insure you against the loss of or damage to your returned goods.

We cannot accept responsibility for returned goods lost or damaged in transit – it is your responsibility to take reasonable care of the goods.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us.  However, if we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective, we will refund your whole purchase price, including postage costs (see “Refunds” below for details).

We will notify you by email when your returns have been processed and, as applicable, when your refund has been made or replacement goods despatched.
 
You will get a refund within 14 days of either Scruffy Dog Clothing getting the goods back, or you providing evidence of having returned the goods (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office), whichever is the sooner.   A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of the you handling the goods more than was necessary or evidence of them having been worn.  

If you are returning an item because it is faulty or because of an error on our part, we will refund the price paid for the goods, the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us.
